Writer bottle with glaze
Writer bottles are useful for fine detailing work and lettering. We are now able to sell writer bottles with glaze so that you can do your own outlining and lettering work at home. When using a writer bottle it is important to let the glaze run out and move the bottle slowly more like using a fountain pen rather than squeezing the bottle as if you are icing a cake. THE PIN MUST BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE, or your glaze will dry in the nozzle and block it.
If you are not keen on the idea of using or ordering a writer bottle remember we are very happy to go over any writing you do on your piece in biro for you when you return you painted items.
Your bottle will come about 50% filled with glaze, full writer bottles can be harder to handle as the glaze runs out faster. This is the same glaze as in our 20ml paint pots, so you can take the lid off and dispense glaze onto a palate for painting with a brush.
